What can I say? I love this place more and more with each passing day.
Tonight, on my way back home from Union Square, on the 6 train, I was hit on……by a deaf man.
I boarded the 5 Express train, found an empty seat (next to nobody) and proceeded to play Brickbreaker.
It’s not even October yet and I’m freezing my ass off.
I have been going into work wearing long-sleeve shirts and on occasion, turtlenecks. Some of my colleagues give me puzzling looks while others just ask, “Aren’t you hot?”
So my attempts to join a softball team for the Fall season has resulted in my name being put on a wait-list. Instead of sitting around, sulking and playing catch by myself, I decided to do the next best thing.

It was one month ago that I arrived here on this 33.77 square miles of land, otherwise known as Manhattan.
So when I was going to school at Columbia, not once did I see a celebrity. I looked for them everywhere. In stores, at the supermarket, under rocks, nothing. Well, all that has come to an end as alas, I had my first NYC public celebrity sighting.
