I get the next two days off from school for Rosh Hashanah. This is quite a change for me as I’m used to celebrating Cesar Chavez, Cinco de Mayo, 50 Cent’s album releases and every now and then, a school lock-down.
It’s not even October yet and I’m freezing my ass off.
I have been going into work wearing long-sleeve shirts and on occasion, turtlenecks. Some of my colleagues give me puzzling looks while others just ask, “Aren’t you hot?”
So a week has gone by since my last post (shame on me) but tada, I’m writing now right?
Today was the first day that I actually started feeling more at home in my apartment. For the past two weeks, I’ve been sleeping on a futon that has left me with backaches. My bed finally arrived and after realizing that the tools that came with the package were useless, I went to Home Depot and am happy to say that I am now the owner of this powerful baby… Read the rest…
