During the various phases of “Operation: Alice’s Move to New York City”, I had felt confident and fearless. All of the doors to my housing and job situations were opening and falling into place and I knew that this move was meant to be.
Hello! I have officially been in NYC for a full week as of today.
This past week was a bit rough as by the second day, I began to feel homesick and then it got worse. I miss my family and friends. Whenever I see a dog I miss Tobie that much more. I’m much better now. I no longer call my parents and sister multiple times a day. I’m just down to once a day though I still request them to put me on speaker so I can talk to Tobie.
